2015 palm oil market study
On September 27th 2016, Meo Carbon Solutions presented the final results of the palm oil market study in Berlin. The study was conducted on behalf of the German Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (Forum für Nachhaltiges Palmöl, FONAP).

On behalf of the German Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (Forum für Nachhaltiges Palmöl, FONAP), Meo Carbon Solutions analysed the German market for palm and palm kernel oil based products.
The study, which is a follow up of a study in 2013, covers the use of palm-based products in different sectors, including food and feed, laundry and home care, cosmetics, energetic as well as chemical applications. Amunts of palm-based products were assessed as total amounts and sustainably certified amounts, which entered the German market in the different sectors in 2015. Oleofuels conference
On June 21st 2016 Meo Carbon Solutions presented the „Impact of latest developments in GHG requirements on biofuel markets” at the Oleofuels 2016 conference in Liverpool, UK.

On October 13th 2016, Meo Carbon Solutions presented results from the palm oil market study of the German Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (Forum für Nachhaltiges Palmöl, FONAP) on the SEPAWA conference in Fulda.
Meo Carbon Solutions held the presentation “The use of palm and palm kernel oil based surfactants in laundry and home care and cosmetic products – results of the FONAP survey” on Thursday, October 13th 20016 at 09:00 a.m. in hall 3.
Topics were the relevant amounts of sustainably certified and non-certified palm oil and palm kernel oil used in products of Laundry and Home Care and Cosmetics for the German market in 2015. Market implications, influencing factors and future developments will aslo be discussed.
